Tennessee’s Unified Command Continues to Focus on Rural Counties with COVID-19 Testing Events this Weekend
Nashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s Unified Command Group will open drive through COVID-19 Coronavirus testing sites in each of Tennessee’s grand divisions on Saturday, November 7th, 2020, in its ongoing effort to curb rising rural cases.
Saturday’s COVID-19 Coronavirus testing is free to those who want to receive a test. Testing sites will be open from 9 a.m. to noon, local time, and will stay open until all individuals in the vehicle line have received tests. The testing locations are as follows:

Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday, November 4th, 2020, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department has turned off water service on Golf Club Lane from Madison Street to Liberty Parkway for water service line repair. Area residents may also experience low water pressure during the work.
The repair is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 5:00pm.
Tennessee Department of Health reports 3,067 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, November 4th, 2020
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 254,058 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus as of Wednesday, November 4th, 2020. That is an increase of 3,067 cases from Tuesday’s 250,991. There have been 3,270 (+21) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.
T H I R T Y F I V E new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 4,569. There has been sixty three deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.
Brentwood, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s tennis team senior Fabienne Schmidt has earned one of six prestigious Ohio Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Awards for the 2019-20 academic year.
Hailing from Hillscheid, Germany, Schmidt has established herself as one of the top tennis players in the OVC and one of the best in Austin Peay State University history.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee gas price average continues to decline and has dropped four cents over last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.87 which is seven cents less than one month ago and 43 cents less than one year ago.
Tennessee’s state gas price average has declined the past 20 consecutive days for a total discount of seven cents.
