Tennessee Vols Football falls on the road to Arkansas Razorbacks, 24-13

 

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsFayetteville, AR – Despite leading 13-0 at halftime, the Tennessee Vols football team was unable to hang on and fell 24-13 to the Arkansas Razorbacks at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Saturday night.
 
Arkansas (3-3) scored all 24 of its points in the third quarter while holding the Vols scoreless in the second half. 
 
Sophomore running back Eric Gray had another impressive performance to lead the Vols offensively. The sophomore recorded his fourth career 100-yard rushing game, finishing the night with 123 yards on 31 carries. He added 27 yards on three receptions, as well.

Tennessee National Guard have administered over half-million COVID-19 Tests

 

Tennessee National GuardNashville, TN – The Tennessee National Guard reached a milestone this week in COVID-19 Coronavirus testing. Since the start of the pandemic, Soldiers and Airmen have administered over 500,000 COVID-19 Coronavirus tests to citizens throughout Tennessee.

“Administering half-a-million tests in support of our state department of health partners says a lot about the commitment and dedication of our Soldiers and Airmen,” said Maj. Gen. Jeff Holmes, Tennessee’s Adjutant General.

Sgt. Leann Roggensack, a field artilleryman with the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment, works as a registered nurse in her civilian occupation. She is one of many Tennessee Guardsmen who have volunteered to help test Tennessee residents for COVID-19. (Sgt. Sarah Kirby).

Tennessee Department of Health reports 4,357 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, November 7th, 2020

 

Tennessee Department of HealthNashville, TN – On Saturday, November 7th, 2020, the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 261,202 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of 4,357 cases from Friday’s 256,845. There have been 3,370 (+46) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

There have been   O N E   H U N D R E D   S E V E N T E E N   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus  reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 4,781. There has been sixty three deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.

Series History between Tennessee Titans, Chicago Bears

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – There also have been 12 all-time meetings in the regular season between the Tennessee Titans and the Chicago Bears franchises. The series is tied 6-6, and the visiting team has won the last five meetings, dating back to 1998.

Most recently, the Titans traveled to Chicago for a Week 12 battle during the 2016 season and escaped with a 27-21 victory. After falling behind 7-0, they scored 27 unanswered points and withstood a furious fourth-quarter rally by the Bears to clinch the win. Quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 15 of 23 passes for 226 yards with two touchdowns and added 46 rushing yards.

NASA announces SpaceX Crew Dragon Spacecraft arrives at Kennedy Space Center

 

NASA - National Aeronautics and Space AdministrationFlorida – NASA reports that the SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft arrived at Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A on Thursday, November 5th, 2020 after making the trek from its processing facility at nearby Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.

A few days from now, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket, topped by Crew Dragon, will be raised to a vertical position at the pad. Crew-1 astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, and Shannon Walker of NASA, along with Soichi Noguchi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), will fly from their home base at the agency’s Johnson Space Center in Houston to the Florida spaceport on Sunday, November 8th.
