Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, December 17th, 2020, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department had to closed a section of Madison Street from South Seventh Street to University Avenue for water service line work.
Traffic will be detoured to South Seventh Street and Cumberland Drive.
Motorists are advised to choose an alternate route to avoid traffic congestion at the work site.
The water service line work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 1:00pm.
