ATF offers reward in Franklin Gun Store Burglary
Franklin, TN – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives in conjunction with the Franklin Police Department and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction for those responsible for the theft of firearms from Franklin Gun Shop, a federal firearm licensee (FFL).
On January 28th, 2021, Franklin Gun Shop FFL, 1214 Lakeview Drive, Franklin, Tennessee, was burglarized where approximately 41 firearms were reported stolen to the Franklin Police Department.
ATF, Franklin Police Department and the firearms industry seek public’s help in firearms theft from Franklin Gun Shop.

Tennessee Women’s Basketball stops Team Activities due to Positive COVID-19 Test
Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee women’s basketball program has paused team activities following one positive COVID-19 Coroanvirus test result and subsequent contact tracing among its Tier 1 personnel, which consists of coaches, student-athletes, team managers, and support staff.
The UT Lady Vol basketball program is following SEC, local, and university public health guidelines to prioritize the health and safety of all student-athletes and staff as well as the campus and local community.

Tennessee Department of Health reports 1,072 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, February 3rd, 2021
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 620,684 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus as of Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021. That is an increase of 1,072 cases from Tuesday’s 619,612. There have been 8,168 (+100) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.
There have been F O R T Y F I V E new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Montgomery County. The total is 15,913. Four of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There have been 171 (+5) deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus. There were 174 tests given with 24 positive results for a 13.7 percent positive.
