National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County and parts of Middle Tennessee beginning Wednesday, January 17th at 3:00pm and continuing until Thursday night at 6:00pm.

Heavy mixed precipitation is possible. Total snow accumulations 1 to 4 inches and ice accumulations around one-tenth of an inch are possible.

Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

Tennessee Department of Health reports 576 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, February 16th, 2021

 

Tennessee Department of HealthNashville, TN – On Tuesday, February 15th, 2021, the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 639,126 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of 576 cases from Monday’s 638,550. There have been 8,810 (+13) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

T W E N T Y   T W O   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Montgomery County. The total is 16,995. Zero of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There have been 202 (+1) deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus. There were 193 tests given with 16 positive results for an 8.3 percent positive.
