Nashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that hazardous travel conditions are possible once again tonight through Saturday Morning for Clarksville-Montgomery County and parts of Middle Tennessee.
Although some well-traveled roadways have been generally cleared and treated, many roadways across the mid-state region continue to have ice, snow, both, or a wet slush combination on them.
With temperatures falling below freezing and lows tonight expected in the teens, any residual moisture on area roadways, especially secondary roads, bridges, and overpasses, has more than likely already turned to black ice and will remain black ice throughout the nighttime hours.

Due to the winter weather that has beset the area, the series start was pushed back one day. The APSU Govs and Patriots start their three-game series Saturday.
Tennessee Department of Health reports 901 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, February 19th, 2021
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 641,115 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus as of Friday, February 19th, 2021. That is an increase of 901 cases from Thursday’s 640,214. There have been 8,898 (+6) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.
There have been T H I R T Y E I G H T new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Montgomery County. The total is 17,063. Two of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There have been 203 deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus. There were 201 tests given with 24 positive results for an 11.9 percent positive.
