Clarksville Building and Codes Department to be Closed Thursday for Training

 

Clarksville Building and Codes Department will spend the day in a training session

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – Clarksville Building and Codes Department offices will be closed on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 for a day of training.

Inspectors and Codes Enforcement Officers will attend the day-long training session at Liberty Park. Some members of the Montgomery County Building and Codes Department also will attend the training, and that department will not be conducting building, plumbing, and mechanical inspections on Thursday, March 4th.

1,200 COVID-19 vaccines to be administered to Clarksville-Montgomery County School System employees by Saturday

 

Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS)Clarksville, TN – By Saturday afternoon, Onsite Clinic expects to have administered 1,200 COVID-19 vaccines to Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) employees since last Friday.

Onsite is scheduled to receive 700 doses of the Moderna vaccine this week.

Tennessee Department of Health reports 420 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, March 2nd, 2021

 

Tennessee Department of HealthNashville, TN – On Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021, the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 650,084 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of 420 cases from Monday’s 649,664. There have been 9,195 (+14) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

There have been   F O U R T E E N   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Montgomery County. The total is 17,414. Three of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There have been 213 (+1) deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus. There were 106 tests given with 7 positive results for a 6.6 percent positive.
