APSU Women's VolleyballMartin, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) volleyball team wraps up the regular-season portion of its spring 2021 volleyball schedule when it travels to UT Martin for a doubleheader, beginning with a noon contest and concluding with a 6:00pm match, Monday, at Skyhawk Arena.

On March 23rd, 2021, the FDA issued an emergency use authorization (EUA) to the Twist Bioscience Corporation for their SARS-CoV-2 NGS Assay.

APSU SoftballClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) softball’s Jordan Benefiel pitched a shutout, while Lexi Osowski picked up three hits and accounted for four runs versus Belmont, Saturday at Cathi Maynard Park-Cheryl Holt Field, as the Govs took the opening game of their three-game Ohio Valley Conference series, 5-0.

President Joe Biden’s Administration Announces Historic $10 Billion Investment to Expand Access to COVID-19 Vaccines, Build Vaccine Confidence in Hardest-Hit, Highest-Risk Communities

 

The White HouseWashington, D.C. – As part of President Joe Biden’s continued efforts to ensure COVID-19 Coronavirus vaccines reach all people and all communities, the Biden-Harris Administration is announcing a series of actions to expand access to COVID-19 Coronavirus vaccines to the hardest-hit and highest-risk communities across the country.

With funding in large part from the American Rescue Plan, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will invest nearly $10 billion to expand access to vaccines and better serve communities of color, rural areas, low-income populations, and other underserved communities in the COVID-19 Coronavirus response.

Marsha Blackburn, Colleagues Reintroduce TEAM Act to Reform How Veterans Exposed to Toxic Substances Receive Health Care and Benefits

 

U.S. SenateWashington, D.C. – U.S. Senators Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), along with Senators Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.), Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), and Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) reintroduced the Toxic Exposure in the American Military (TEAM) Act.

This is bipartisan legislation that fundamentally reforms and improves how veterans exposed to toxic substances receive health care and benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

The Gamecocks grabbed an early advantage in doubles play, knocking off Gabriel Nolasco Pozo and Thiago Nogueira in the No. 3 match to kick things off.
