Bi-County Solid Waste Management Transfer Station access limited

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – The Bi-County Solid Waste Management Transfer Station, located at 1230 Highway Drive, is down to one lane due to damage inside the transfer station pit.

Bi-County is working with a contractor to get the repairs made as quickly as possible.

“We expect the transfer station pit to be down this week and possibly through April 21st,” explained Bi-County Director Mark Neblett. “We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate the cooperation of residents during this time.”

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office makes additional arrests in Dotsonville Community shooting

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) investigators have arrested two suspects and searching for a third in connection to a shooting in the Dotsonville Community.

The incident occurred at the Smith Branch Boat Ramp on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 at approximately 8:30pm. According to the victim, he was assaulted by three individuals and shot in the hand and forearm.

The victim was able to drive to a nearby residence to ask for assistance.

Tennessee Department of Health reports 920 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, April 14th, 2021

Nashville, TN – On Wednesday, April 14th, 2021, the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 685,081 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of 920 cases from Tuesday’s 684,161. There have been 9,648 (+5) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

There have been  THIRTY SEVEN  new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Montgomery County. The total is 18,976. Nine of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There have been 224 (+1) deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus. There were 350 tests given with 30 positive results for an 8.6 percent positive.
