Tennessee Department of Health reports 1,301 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, May 3rd, 2021

Nashville, TN – On Monday, May 3rd, 2021, the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 701,350 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of 1.301 cases from Friday’s 700,049. There have been 9,798 (+5) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

THIRTY SIX new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Montgomery County. The total is 20,110. Nine of the new cases reported across the last three days were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There have been 224 deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus. There were 146 tests given with 7 positive results for a 3.8 percent positive.
