Nashville Sounds take down Charlotte Knights 7-4 for 14th Straight Win

 

Nashville SoundsCharlotte, NC – The Nashville Sounds’ winning streak reached 14 on Wednesday night with a 7-4 victory over the Charlotte Knights at Truist Field. Zack Godley dominated for seven innings, and Pablo Reyes and Weston Wilson each homered, putting the Sounds one win away from tying a franchise record for most consecutive wins.

Their 20-5 record remains the best in minor league baseball and the best start to a season in team history through 25 games.

Godley allowed only one hit in seven innings, and it came on his first batter of the game.

Tornado Warning issued for Northeastern Montgomery County

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a tornado warning for Northeastern Montgomery County and Northwestern Robertson County until 9:45pm CT.

At 9:21pm CT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Clarksville, moving northeast at 35 mph.

The impact is flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.

Northwestern Montgomery County under Severe Thunderstorm Warning

 

National Weather ServiceClarksville, TN – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Northwestern Montgomery County and East central Stewart County until 9:15pm CT.

At 8:38pm CT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southwest of Fort Campbell, moving northeast at 15 mph.

The hazard of this storm is 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
