President Joe Biden announces Historic Vaccine Donation: Half a Billion Pfizer Vaccines to World’s Lowest-Income Nations

 

The White HouseWashington, D.C. – Today, President Joe Biden will announce that the United States will purchase and donate half a billion Pfizer vaccines to 92 low- and lower middle-income countries and the African Union, a historic action that will help supercharge the global fight against the pandemic.

This is the largest-ever purchase and donation of vaccines by a single country and a commitment by the American people to help protect people around the world from COVID-19 Coronavirus.

Nashville Sounds score Five in the Fifth to take down Indianapolis Indians, 6-3

 

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds scored five runs in the seventh inning to overcome a 3-1 deficit and defeat the Indianapolis Indians 6-3 Thursday night at First Horizon Park. It marked the third time the Sounds have won when trailing after six innings.

Nashville got on the board in the third as Keston Hiura singled home a run to give the Sounds a 1-0 advantage.

Indianapolis came back to take a 3-1 lead in the fourth on a single from Will Craig and a two-RBI single from Anthony Alford.

In Clarksville, in accordance with City code Sec 10-218, fireworks may be exploded, fired, shot, or set off inside the City Corporate Limits from July 1st to July 5th 2021 between the hours of 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
