Marsha Blackburn Report: Demanding An Independent Investigation Into COVID-19 Origins

 

U.S. SenateWashington, D.C. – Almost a year and a half after a group of 27 scientists dismissed the possibility of a lab leak, they came together to change their minds.

While the researchers have shifted their positions, the science has not changed, and the conflicts of interest have not changed.

We must hold the Chinese government accountable.

We need an independent investigation now.

Tennessee Agricultural Enterprise Fund Far Exceeds Expectations

 

Tennessee Department of AgricultureNashville, TN – A recent analysis shows that for every dollar Tennessee is investing into Agricultural Enterprise Fund (AEF) projects, $17.55 is returned to local economies.

A University of Tennessee study reviewed the projected economic effect of AEF projects when leveraged with the investments by agribusiness firms statewide to determine the impact of the fund.

Nashville Sounds hold Gwinnett Stripers scoreless in 7-0 win

 

Nashville SoundsLawrenceville, GA – Weston Wilson broke the game open in the seventh inning with a three-run home run to lead the Nashville Sounds to a 7-0 victory over the Gwinnett Stripers Sunday afternoon at Coolray Field. Nashville recorded their fifth shutout of the season and their second of the series.

With two outs in the first inning, Matt Lipka gave the Sounds a quick 1-0 lead with a solo home run to left field. Troy Stokes Jr. extended the Nashville lead to 2-0 in the second, driving in Kevin Kramer with a single.

Tennessee National Guardsman from Memphis exemplifies leadership during COVID-19 mission

 

Tennessee National GuardCarthage, TN – Capt. Gregg Murphy, the commander of Memphis’ 1172nd Transportation Company, is no stranger to organizing complex tasks.

A Soldier with years of logistics experience and a degree in organizational management, he knew his skills would be useful when the Tennessee National Guard requested volunteers to work with the COVID-19 task force.
