Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has turned off water service on Forest Street and High Street for water main leak repair and water valve replacement.
Low water pressure may also affect the vicinity during the work.
[320left[Forest Street is passable. However, the road is closed to one lane of traffic at the High Street intersection. Motorists are asked to choose an alternate travel route to avoid traffic congestion at the work site.
The water main and valve work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored and the lane reopened to traffic by approximately 3:30pm.
