Clarksville, TN – Nashville State Community College’s Clarksville campus is hosting an informational session about Industrial Process Control Technology and built-in career pathways on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The campus is located at 1760 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
“With Clarksville and Montgomery County’s fast-paced growth, Nashville State Community College is working to make sure we continue expanding program offerings in career fields that match local needs,” said Kathleen Akers, Nashville State’s Clarksville campus director. “Earning credentials will increase a paycheck and create a career pathway. We hope those interested in learning more come to the June 23rd session.”
Nashville State Clarksville campus offers a 2-year degree and certificates that can be earned in a year.
- Process Control Technology A.A.S.
- Process Operator Certificate
- Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation Technical Certificate
While in school, Nashville State has apprenticeship partnerships with industry employers, where students get paid while getting hands-on experience.
The IPCT program is accredited through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
The 2020 median pay for an industrial technician is $57,320, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor.
