Clarksville Gas and Water Department plans Greenwood Avenue road closure

Traffic Detour; Stafford Street and Crossland Avenue

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned a road closure on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 at 6:00am on Greenwood Avenue from Stafford Street to Crossland Avenue for natural gas service line installation.

Traffic will be detoured to Stafford Street and Crossland Avenue during the work. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment when approaching the work zone or choose an alternate travel route.

The natural gas service line installation is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 6:00pm.
