Marsha Blackburn Report: Happy Thanksgiving!

U.S. SenateWashington, D.C. – As we gather with our loved ones each year, it is important to focus on the many blessings bestowed upon our families and our nation.

On Thanksgiving and every day, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve you in the U.S. Senate. I hope you and your loved ones had a day filled with joy, laughter, delicious food, and abundant blessings from the Lord.

Weekly Rundown

Thanksgiving is one of my family’s favorite holidays. Every year, we try to outdo each other in the kitchen. From my irresistible chicken béarnaise to my decadent amoeba cookies, I invite you to follow along as I make these Blackburn household staples. I look forward to seeing you share your own delicious results on social media, so be sure to tag me, @MarshaBlackburn, on Twitter and Instagram.

Tennessee’s small businesses are the cornerstone of our economy. I depend on the feedback I receive from small business owners as I work in Washington to cut bureaucratic red tape, get rid of burdensome regulations that do nothing but kill jobs and squash innovation, and reduce the inflation that is crushing our economy. This Small Business Saturday, join me in “shopping small.”

This holiday season, join me in spreading a little cheer to the brave men and women who serve our great country. There are plenty of ways to show your support. The Red Cross’ Holidays for Heroes program is an excellent way to get involved. My staff and I were pleased to stop by and write cards to our service members.
