Nashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Freeze Warning for Clarksville-Montgomery County and Middle Tennessee.
The Freeze Warning is in effect from now until 9:00am Saturday morning. There is a Freeze Warning beginning at 10:00pm Saturday night until Sunday morning at 10:00am.
For this morning, temperatures as low as 27. For the second Freeze Warning tonight into Sunday morning, temperatures as low as 20 are expected.
Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
