McReynolds Nave and LarsonErin, TN – Sharon Farmer, age 80 of Erin, TN,  passed away Thursday, July 30th, 2026 at her residence. 

Sharon was born in Marquette, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula on January 11th, 1936, daughter to the late John and Lucille DeSautelle.

She married George McNerney, who passed away in 1977, leaving three children from that union; a son, Robert J. McNerney, who has resided in Houston County since 1999, and passed away December 2009; a son, David Scott McNerney, who resides in Erin, Tennessee with Mary Jolly;  daughter, Colleen J. Vaughan, who lives in Ishpeming, Michigan; and five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, all residing in Michigan.

After traveling for years, Sharon moved to Erin, Tennessee in the 1980’s with her husband, Richard J. Farmer, who also passed away in 2000.
