Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports that the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force in partnership with Allies for Substance Abuse Prevention (APAP) hosted a successful Drug Take Back Day Saturday, October 27th, 2018 from 10:00am.to 2:00pm.

Drop off locations were set up at Harris Family Pharmacy on Fort Campbell Boulevard, Sango Pharmacy on Madison Street, Walgreens at the corner of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Tiny Town Road, and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports LSD worth $5,000,000 confiscated from Shady Grove Road residence

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force (DTF) confiscated 6.37 pounds of LSD from a home on Shady Grove Road Wednesday afternoon, November 8th, 2017.

Agents with the DTF were executing a search warrant when they discovered the LSD and components used in manufacturing LSD in the home.

Roy Edward Wagner III, 35, was taken into custody and charged with schedule I drugs and unlawful drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $100,000.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to hold Drug Take Back Day at Fred’s Pharmacy, Saturday

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Fred’s Pharmacy are partnering for The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. Which is dangerous and can lead to tragedy. We encourage citizens to clean out their medicine cabinets and turn in old and used prescription drugs so they can be disposed of safely.

Agents from the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force will be at Fred’s Pharmacy at 390 Hwy 149 from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, October 28th, to provide a safe, convenient, and anonymous means of disposing old and unused prescription drugs.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies find Mobile Meth Lab

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office discovered a mobile meth lab early Tuesday morning in the Ramblewood Apartment Complex.

Deputy Dale BeCraft was searching for a possible robbery suspect when he discovered a vehicle with two passed out occupants and a hypodermic needle in the center console.

Deputies were able to wake the occupants, Bryan Wayne Batson, 33, and Joni Sue Batson, 32.

Houston County Woman Charged with 31 Counts of TennCare Fraud

 

TennCareNashville, TN – A Houston County woman is charged in Montgomery County with TennCare fraud for creating and filling fraudulent prescriptions, using TennCare as payment.        

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) with the assistance of the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force today announced the arrest of Chrystal Hope Hastings, 44, of Erin, TN. She is charged with 31 counts of TennCare fraud and 25 counts of prescription drug fraud.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Nine People arrested on Drug Charges

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's OfficeClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says agents with the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force arrested nine individuals Wednesday, March 1st, 2017 on drug charges.

While executing a search warrant at 3484 Arvin Drive, agents discovered 22 grams of crack cocaine, which an individual within the residence attempted to discard by flushing it down the toilet. Agents also found in the home several hypodermic needles, digital scales, and bags indicative for narcotics resale.

A stolen vehicle was also discovered on the property.

Montgomery County Sheriff's OfficeClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) would like to congratulate K9 Merlin and his handler Agent Chris Bedell on their recognition from the United States Police Canine Association.

Merlin and Bedell were awarded the Excellence Award for Third Quarter 2016 and the Excellence Award for Fourth Quarter 2016.

They received the award for their tireless efforts in search and seizure of narcotics and illegal currency for the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force.

Montgomery County Shooting suspect arrested in Indiana

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Jacob Hammond and Amber Lehman were apprehended Saturday around 10:00pm on February 22nd, 2013, outside of a motel in Evansville, Indiana.

United States Marshals and Vandenburgh County Indiana Sheriff’s deputies apprehended both Hammond and Lehman along with Jonathan Buckner, who is also from Clarksville, Tennessee. A sergeant, with the Vandenburgh Sheriff’s Office, stated that all three were in possession of firearms along with ingredients to make meth.

Shots Fired at Montgomery County Sheriff’s Investigator during pursuit

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, February 19th, 2014 at approximately 1:00pm, 19th Judicial Drug Task Force agents were working a meth complaint near Jim Ledford Road when a vehicle pulled up to the scene.

Agents tried to initiate a conversation with the male driver and female passenger but the vehicle sped off crashing through several fences leading into a field. The suspect vehicle got stuck and both the driver and passenger fled on foot.
