Tennessee National Guard conducts its first post-COVID-19 Boss Lift

 

Tennessee National GuardJackson, TN – On June 18th, 2021, the Tennessee National Guard and the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) held the first Boss Lift since the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic outbreak in 2020.

Soldiers with the 1/230th Assault Helicopter Battalion transported local employers from Army Aviation Support Facility #3 in Jackson to Milan’s Volunteer Training Site via UH-60 Blackhawks.

Tennessee National Guard aviation unit deploys

 

Tennessee National GuardNashville, TN – Members of a Tennessee National Guard aviation unit have deployed following a farewell ceremony at Nashville’s Berry Field Air National Guard Base, on June 12th, 2021.

Soldiers from Detachment 6, A Company, 2nd Battalion, 641st Aviation Regiment, are flying to Fort Bliss, Texas, to conduct additional pre-deployment training before leaving for the Horn of Africa on a 9-month mobilization.

A C-12 Huron aircraft prepares to depart Nashville’s Berry Field Air Force Base on June 12 following the departure ceremony for Detachment 6, A Company, 2nd Battalion, 641st Aviation Regiment.
