Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department promoted three officers to Sergeant in a ceremony officiated by Chief Ansley.

The room was filled with dignitaries, friends, family, and well-wishers for the promotion ceremony.

Each of the officers promoted have a diverse background and wide range of experience within the department.

Four Clarksville Police Officers Receive Lifesaver Awards

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, September 14th, 2018, four officers were recognized for their actions during emergency situations and were each presented with Lifesaver Awards. The Lifesaver award is given to officers whose direct actions saves or extends the life of another person.

The officers receiving the awards were Officer Adam Post, Officer William Becker, Officer Michael Ciupka and Officer Morgan Baker.

Clarksville Police to investigate eight vehicle crash on Fort Campbell Boulevard

 

Emergency responders had their hands full after eight cars were involved in a motor vehicle crash.

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On October 19th, 2012, a little before 8:00pm, emergency responders were called to a rare sight in Clarksville—an eight car crash. There were multiple non-life threatening injuries and several of the vehicles had to towed from the scene.

There were several witnesses to the crash and their accounts were very similar. A 2001 Dodge Intrepid, driven by Peggy Smith, 56, of Clarksville, was all over the roadway while traveling southbound on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

Police Academy Graduate Take Honors

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – the Clarksville Police Department once again demonstrated the quality of officers they hire. Two officers, Adam Post and Jordan Parnell graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement class, March 16th, 2012.

Officer Jordan Parnell was recognized with multiple honors at the Academy Graduation. He was awarded the prestigious John R. Cunningham Award for Outstanding Officer for top overall score for academic and practical skills application and also received the award for Highest Academic Score.

Three New Clarksville Police Officers Take Oath of Office

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department welcomed three new officers to its ranks today, December 1st, 2011. 

Commissioner of Finance Ben Griffin administered the Oath of Office to the new officers in a ceremony at City Hall.
