APSU Women’s Tennis to play three straight games starting Friday

 

APSU Women's TennisClarksville, TN – Having won seven-straight matches, the Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team will put their winning streak to the test with a 4:00pm, Friday, February 20th match against Louisville at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. After taking on the Cardinals on the road, the Governors will return home for an 11:00am, Saturday match against North Alabama and a 12:00pm, Sunday match against Middle Tennessee.

Instant Peay Play: APSU Governors Women’s Tennis Team looks to defend OVC title

 

Instant Peay Play - APSU SportsClarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s tennis opened its spring schedule, January 20th, at 1:00pm, in the Governors Indoor Tennis Center by hosting Chattanooga in what they hope begins the road to defend their Ohio Valley Conference championship.

The Govs return four players from its 2019 spring squad that posted a 22-1 overall record in winning the OVC and earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament, led by junior Fabienne Schmidt and sophomore Danielle Morris, who were voting by the conference’s coaches as the No.2 and No. 6 ranked players in the OVC respectively.

APSU Men’s Tennis loses to Middle Tennessee

 

APSU Men's TennisMurfreesboro, TN – On the road for an in-state battle, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) men’s tennis fell to Middle Tennessee, 7-0, Monday at the Adams Tennis Complex.

The Governors started out the day with the same three doubles pairings as their previous match at Louisville.

APSU Women’s Tennis announces 2019-2020 Schedule, look to defend OVC Title
