Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsCollege Station, TX – Riding a 15-game win streak, No. 1 Tennessee Vols basketball team has a chance to set the program record for consecutive victories Saturday night on the road against Texas A&M at Reed Arena.

The game will tip at 7:00pm CT and will be televised on ESPN and can also be viewed online through WatchESPN. Fans can listen live on their local Vol Network affiliate to hear Bob Kesling and Bert Bertelkamp describing the action.

The UT record for consecutive wins has stood for more than a century, dating back to a 15-game stretch during the 1915-17 seasons.

#24/23 Tennessee Vols beats Texas A&M 75-62 for third straight win

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN Kyle Alexander scored a career-high 14 points and No. 24/23 Tennessee held off Texas A&M on Saturday at Thompson-Boling Arena, 75-62.

The Vols (12-4, 3-2 SEC) forced 17 Texas A&M turnovers, the second-most of the season for the Aggies, on their way to a third-straight SEC win. The win was also Tennessee’s first over Texas A&M in Knoxville since the Aggies joined the SEC in 2012, and the first time the Vols had strung together three straight SEC wins since January 21st-31st, 2017 (Mississippi State, Kentucky, Kansas State).

The game will tip at 5:00pm CT and will be televised live on SEC Network and streamed online via WatchESPN.

After dropping its first two conference games, Tennessee (11-4, 2-2 SEC) used a second-half comeback to down No. 17 Kentucky last Saturday in front of a sold-out UT crowd. The Vols followed up that performance by going on the road and rallying from a 10-point halftime deficit to beat in-state rival Vanderbilt on Tuesday.

Tennessee Vols beats Texas A&M, 73-63

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsCollege Station, TX Tennessee had four players finish in double figures and Grant Williams tied the single-game school record for blocked shots as Tennessee earned a 73-63 win at Texas A&M in the SEC opener on Thursday night.

Williams stuffed the stat sheet for the Vols (7-5, 1-0 SEC) with 12 points, five rebounds and six blocks. Those six swats matched the most ever recorded in a game by a Volunteer and is the most for UT since Kyle Alexander finished with the same total last season at TCU.
