West Creek High School Coyotes - Clarksville, TNServall Termite & Pest ControlClarksville, TN – The West Creek Lady Coyotes dealt the Kenwood Lady Knights their second District 10-AAA loss Friday night, 58-40.

The 3-point shots the Lady Knights rely on did not fall for them against the Lady Coyotes. Of their multiple attempts, they only made two for the whole game. Meanwhile, the Lady Coyotes did their damage driving to the basket and either scoring in the paint or at the free throw line when fouled.

Kenwood Lady Knights loses 78-70 to Cheatham County in overtime

 

Kenwood High SchoolServall Termite & Pest ControlClarksville, TN – A desperation three at the buzzer forced Kenwood High School’s girls basketball team into overtime, Friday, November 21st, where they never truly recovered in a 78-70 loss to Cheatham County High School.

Kenwood (2-3) led 63-60 following two free throws from Jasmine Johnson, with 12.6 seconds left in regulation, giving the Lady Cubs one final chance to tie the game.

Cheatham County (3-2) brought the ball up the court quickly to get into their offensive set and into the hands of their leading scorer Savannah Worlund.

Kenwood Lady Knights can’t overcome Community High free throws in 75-56 loss

 

Kenwood High SchoolClarksville, TN – Kenwood High School’s Lady Knights basketball team couldn’t overcome 24 second-half free throws by Community High School, November 11th, as they dropped their TSSAA Hall of Fame Game to the Viqueens 75-56 to open their regular season.

Leading 30-25 a minute into the second half, Kenwood would see the Viqueens score seven straight points – including five coming at the free throw line – to take their first lead of the game, 32-30 with 5:41 left in the third quarter.

The Lady Knights would answer back with a 7-0 run of their own, beginning with two field goals from Jasmine Johnson and a bucket from Sharisa Kimble, to regain the lead 37-32, with 4:05 left in the period.

Kenwood Lady Knights Trample Northeast Lady Eagles at Basketball Jamboree 18-9

 

Kenwood High SchoolServall Termite & Pest ControlClarksville, TN – The Lady Knights galloped over the Northeast Lady Eagles 18-9 in their jamboree match up Thursday night. A big first period was all it took to beat the Eagles who scored single digit points in both 8-minute periods.

The Lady Eagles struggled to score from both the floor and the free throw line. They scored only three baskets from the floor and shot 3-of-9 from the free throw line.

Lady Knights Mikeala Smith and Malia Umrani led all scorers with 4 points. Smith also pulled down 3 rebounds.

Big second half by Haley Bearden, TaTayana Outlaw lead Clarksville High Lady Wildcats past Kenwood Lady Knights

 

Clarksville High School WildcatsClarksville, TN – Clarksville High School’s Haley Bearden and TaTayana Outlaw combined for 25 of their 32 total points after halftime, December 10thin a District 10-AAA contest at William Workman Gymnasium, to lead the Lady Wildcats past Kenwood High School, 53-41.

Leading by one at halftime, 17-16, Outlaw kept the Lady Wildcats (2-5, 2-0 District 10-AAA) in front of the Lady Knights by scoring 10 of their first 12 points of the second half to give CHS a 29-27 lead, with 3:05 left in the third quarter.
