Austin Peay State University to offer one-on-one Virtual Tours of Campus

Clarksville, TN – In the months before the coronavirus pandemic, hundreds of high school students visited Austin Peay State University (APSU) to take campus tours.
Now, with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidelines for social distancing limiting such interactions, the APSU Admissions Office is being more creative in showing off what campus has to offer.

Austin Peay State University promises scholarships to all of state’s high-achieving community college graduates

Clarksville, TN – Beginning this fall, Austin Peay State University will guarantee scholarships to all Tennessee Board of Regents community college and Hopkinsville Community College graduates who have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Titled the APSU Promise, the new scholarship program aims to bring more high-caliber students to campus in the coming years.

Austin Peay State University waiving fees for active duty soldiers at APSU Fort Campbell Center

Clarksville, TN – A recent change to the U.S. Department of Defense’s Tuition Assistance program is causing active-duty military personnel to pay out-of-pocket cash for fees associated with pursuing a college education, but Austin Peay State University is working to eliminate this financial burden affecting its military students.
Beginning with the Fall II semester, APSU will waive online fees and technology access fees for active-duty personnel taking classes at the Austin Peay Center at Fort Campbell.

Austin Peay State University to host Spring AP Day in February

Clarksville TN –Area high school students hoping to enter college will have an opportunity to win a $3,000 scholarship to APSU, when the university hosts it’s Spring 2013 AP Day, February 16.
Prospective students interested in knowing more about attending APSU are encouraged to attend AP Day.
