Austin Peay State University’s Community School of the Arts to hold First-Ever Rock Band Camp this Summer

 

Austin Peay State University Community School for the ArtsClarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Community School of the Arts will host its first-ever Rock Band Camp this summer.

One camp will be on June 28th-July 2nd, 2021, and one will be on July 19th-23rd. The camps will be from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the APSU Music and Mass Communication Building.

1988 playbill falls out of reclaimed APSU Trahern Theatre seat

 

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – In the span of two weeks at Austin Peay State University (APSU), two remarkable discoveries of long-forgotten items opened a torrent of memories for two professors with decades-old ties to the school.

The first discovery happened on August 1st, 2019 when an electrician’s assistant working in Kimbrough Building found a billfold that had been missing since 1987.

Austin Peay State University to hold annual Guitarfest, February 11th-13th

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – This February, Austin Peay State University and the APSU Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts will present the annual APSU GuitarFest, featuring guest artist concerts and workshops.

The concerts, which are free and open to the public, will be at 7:30pm, February 11th-13th, in the APSU Music/Mass Communication Building’s Mabry Concert Hall.

Twenty-six-year-old Australian Joe Robinson, world-class virtuoso guitarist and singer/songwriter will perform on February 12th.
