Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University Governors Football is still seeking its first 2013 victory as they travel to Murray State to take on the Racers Saturday, October 19th.
The Governors enter the contest with 21 straight road losses. Their last road victory came against Tennessee State, a 26-23 verdict, September 18th, 2010.
Clarksville, TN – The Kirby Cannon Show will debut, 6:00pm, Thursday, on the Austin Peay State University Governors Sports Network from the Gilroy, located on University Avenue.
The one-hour show will be aired on The Governors Sports Network (flagship station WVRY 105.1 FM).
Knoxville, TN – The University of Tennessee’s football season opener and Butch Jones’ debut as head coach of the Vols will be televised on a pay-per-view basis across the state of Tennessee. Kickoff for the game on Saturday, August 31st vs. Austin Peay is scheduled for 6:00pm Eastern / 5:00pm Central.
The game will be available nationally on ESPN GamePlan and ESPN3, with a blackout in the State of Tennessee.
