American Red CrossNashville, TN – The American Red Cross now faces a blood shortage following a difficult Fourth of July week for blood and platelet donations and ongoing challenges finding new blood donors, and has issued an emergency call for eligible individuals of all blood types to give now and prevent delays in medical care.

American Red CrossNashville, TN – The _meric_n Red Cr_ss needs _l_ _d d_n_rs to bring back the missing A’s, B’s and O’s. A few missing letters may not seem like a big deal in a sentence, but for patients who need A, B, O and AB blood types, these missing letters mean life.

The American Red Cross urges donors of all blood types to give now to help prevent delays in medical care this summer.

Rivers and Spires Festival Celebrates 10th Anniversary with a Bang

 

Rivers and Spires Festiveal 2012 - 10 yearsClarksville, TN – The final day of the 2012 Rivers and Spires Festival on Saturday opened with unseasonably cooler weather to the point of being really chilly.  Warm coats, hats, and/or gloves were the order of the day.  Turnout started out slow, and might have been a little bit depressed over all from previous years as a result, but the people who did come out had a really great time!

Arriving around 11:00am, I found dribs and drabs of people mostly scattered around the various stages. As the morning progressed the numbers steadily increased.
