American Red Cross, Nashville Predators team up for Multi-City Blood Drive

 

American Red CrossNashville, TN – The American Red Cross is continuing the partnership with the Nashville Predators Foundation to host multi-city blood drive from February 22nd to February 26th.  

All presenting donors who pre-schedule an appointment will receive a Predators foam hockey puck, while supplies last.

Nashville Predators, Montgomery County break ground on Multi-Purpose Event Center

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – On Thursday, November 12th, 2020, representatives from the Nashville Predators and Montgomery County broke ground on the Montgomery County Multi-Purpose Event Center in Downtown Clarksville, Tennessee.

“We began this project more than seven years ago, and to see it all come to fruition today in Clarksville is a testament to the passion and persistence of Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett,” Predators President and CEO Sean Henry said. “I’ve never worked with anyone who loves their community more than Jim Durrett, and this project symbolizes his desire to leave a lasting legacy for all of us to enjoy for decades.”

Clarksville Police report Burglars try to Pawn Stolen Items to Burglary Victim

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – These two burglars decided to pawn stolen items at the same pawn shop where the burglary victim works according to Clarksville Police. Of course, the victim recognized the items and then found that his house had been burglarized.

The victim called the police while the burglars were still at the pawn shop. 30-year-old Jeremy A. Watts from Nunnelly, TN and 24-year-old Jessica F. Heady from Bellevue, TN were taken into custody and booked into Montgomery County Jail.

This all took place yesterday August 2nd, 2016 between 12:15pm and 2:00pm.

Beatles 50th Anniversary Celebration Concert at The Renaissance Center

 

The Beatles are coming to Dickson! The WannaBeatles that is.

The Renaissance CenterDickson, TN – In the wake of the London Olympics and all things British, The Renaissance Center will celebrate one of Great Britain’s most beloved exports, The Beatles, as the 2012 calendar marks the 50 Year Anniversary of the Beatles!

Joining in on the fun are The WannaBeatles, one of the best Beatles tribute bands in the country, for a concert and Beatles-related activities scheduled for Saturday, August 25th, 7:00pm. Pre-concert activities include several musical acts in the center’s rotunda and a showing of Laser Beatles in the Cybersphere Digital Theatre.
