Fort Campbell, KY – The 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), held a rededication ceremony here July 30th, 2015, officially moving the memorials to their new location.

The ceremony was one of the many events featured during the Day of the Eagles.

The Strike brigade memorial is the first of the BCT memorials to go on what will become Memorial Row.

An honor guard rifle detail fires a 21-gun salute in honor of Spc. Matthew Walker during a wreath laying at the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division’s memorial rededication ceremony at Fort Campbell, Ky., July 30, 2015. Walker was the only Soldier killed in action during Strike’s 2014 Operation Enduring Freedom deployment to Afghanistan. (Staff Sgt. Sierra A.
