TWRA to auction off Fifth Permit for 2012 Elk Hunt on Ebay July 19th-29th

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The fifth permit for participation in Tennessee’s fourth managed elk hunt will be awarded to the successful bidder in an eBay auction to be held from July 19th-29th. Proceeds from the auction benefit the state’s elk restoration program.

Since the elk hunt was implemented in 2009, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) has donated a permit to a Non-Governmental Organization to join four others who were selected from a computer drawing. Auction for remaining Permit in 2011 Elk Hunt extended through Sunday, July 24th

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The auction for the final permit in Tennessee’s third managed elk hunt has been extended through midnight (CDT) on Sunday, July 24th.

The final permit will go to the successful high bidder in the eBay auction which is being conducted by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation (TWRF). Proceeds from the auction benefit the state’s elk restoration program.
