Fort Campbell Warrior Transition Battalion Soldiers to complete a 101-mile rendezvous Bike Ride

 

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – On September 27th, 2019, wounded, ill and injured Soldiers will participate in a 101-mile bike ride, “Where Heroes Rendezvous,” on Fort Campbell and in the surrounding communities.

More than 70 riders, including wounded, ill or injured Soldiers assigned to the Fort Campbell, Fort Stewart, Georgia, and Fort Benning, Georgia Warrior Transition Battalions, as well as cadre, veterans and volunteers will ride, sharing their support of WTB Soldiers along the route. The community can help cheer for riders as they ride past along the route.

Fort Campbell Warrior Transition Battalion Soldiers set to knock out 200 miles in road to recovery

 

Fort Campbell Warrior Transition Battalion

Blanchfield Army Hospital - BACH - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell Warrior Transition Battalion Soldiers will complete a 200-mile bike ride on and around Fort Campbell September 27th and 28th, 2018.

“This will be the fifth iteration of our endurance ride,” said Lt. Col. Shawn Butler, WTB commander. “This year the ride will take place on post and in the communities surrounding Fort Campbell and we’ve extended the ride by 33 miles this year.”

Participants reach the final 20-mile stretch during last year's Bluegrass Rendezvous Bike Ride. This week Soldiers from Fort Campbell's Warrior Transition Battalion will complete a 200-mile bike ride on and around Fort Campbell Thursday, September 27th and Friday, September 28th.
