Christmas with 101st Airborne Division’s 3rd Brigade Combat Team “Rakkasans”

Khowst Province, Afghanistan – During this holiday season, Soldiers with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team “Rakkasans,” 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), will be spending the holidays deployed while in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The currently deployed Rakkasans are unable to spend the holidays with their families, but with the reality of deployment at hand they still have the support from both the American people and the military.

101st Airborne Division “Rakkasan” Soldiers gather to strengthen resiliency, combat stress

Khowst Province, Afghanistan – Chaplains from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team “Rakkasans,” 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), gathered in a briefing room at Forward Operating Base Salerno, Afghanistan, for an extensive two-day training event aimed at increasing individual resiliency December 5th, 2012.
