Clarksville Police report Man Struck during Firearm Accidental Discharge

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Tuesday, June 18th, 2018 Clarksville Police were called to 208 Caldwell Lane for a shooting in progress around 2:00pm.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a 20 year old man outside, who had sustained a gunshot wound to his upper right chest area.

It was determined the man had been accidentally shot by Dwight Dyon Seay. Seay was holding a Walther 22 caliber handgun, accidentally discharged it, and the bullet struck the victim walking outside.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department to take part in Summer Food Service Program

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – During the duration of the City’s Summer Youth Program, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

At 13 of the 15 program sites (all sites excluding Crow Recreation Center and Sango Elementary School) meals will be provided to all children without charge.

Meals to be served at Summer Youth Program sites

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is participating in the Summer Food Service Program throughout the duration of the City’s Summer Youth Program.

At 14 of the 15 program sites (all sites excluding Crow Recreation Center) meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service (not all prohibited bases apply to all programs).
