General Motors recalls over 500,000 vehicles because Passenger Frontal Air Bag Inflator May Explode

 

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - NHTSAWashington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports General Motors, LLC is recalling certain 2009 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado 1500, Silverado 2500, Silverado 3500, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Sierra 2500, Sierra 3500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles.

An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.

Certain 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks are being recalled because the passenger frontal air bag inflator may explode.

Clarksville Police request public help identifying Vehicle Burglary Suspects

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are trying to identify two suspects, male and female, in this video that stole over $1,500 in tools from a pickup toolbox while the truck was parked at South Hampton Plaza located on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 around 7:30pm.

The suspect vehicle, a white Chevrolet Avalanche, circled the lot multiple times before the burglarizing the Ford F250.

Clarksville Police report Barricaded Domestic Assault Suspect Palikna Tosie Surrenders

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – A domestic disturbance in Clarksville escalated into felony assault and a barricaded suspect about 9:15am Saturday morning, June 30th, 2018 according to Clarksville Police.

The incident began with a domestic disturbance in a Sturdivant Drive residence. When a 34-year-old woman left the home in a Chevrolet Avalanche, her husband allegedly pursued her in a Chevrolet Camaro, ramming her off the roadway at Sturdivant Drive and Tobacco Road before attacking her on foot.

Chevrolet Avalanche was rammed off the road by a Chevrolet Camaro driven by Palikna Tosie.

Clarksville Police Suspect Arson in Three Vehicle Fires

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that there were three vehicles set on fire in the same neighborhood community in an hour and a half time frame.

The vehicles were set on fire June 11th,2018 between 12:15am and 1:45am at Friar Drive, Storybook Drive, and Short Street. There was a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche, 2006 Nissan Titan, and 2000 Chevrolet Malibu set on fire.

Each vehicle had varying degrees of damage.

Clarksville Police release names from Fatal Crash on Fort Campbell Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On May 29th, 2012, around 4:40pm, a Mitsubishi Eclipse made a left turn in front of a Chevrolet Avalanche pickup on Fort Campbell Boulevard. The Chevrolet collided with the passenger side of the Mitsubishi.

The Clarksville Police Department released the names from the accident tonight. The Chevrolet Avalanche was driven by Kelly Metzmaker age 31. The driver of the Mitsubishi was Ryan Lee Sullivan age 24. The deceased’s name is Melinda Sue Ricci age 20. The investigation is ongoing.

Clarksville Police report Crash on Fort Campbell Boulevard with One Fatality

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are investigating a fatal crash which occurred on Fort Campbell Boulevard near Hadley Drive.

On May 29th, 2012, around 4:40pm, a Chevrolet Avalanche pickup, driven by a 31 year old male was traveling south on Fort Campbell Boulevard. A Mitsubishi Eclipse, driven by 24 year old male, was traveling north on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
