Clarksville, TN – As it is with most political elections, sooner or later a candidate tries to defeat an opponent by using the opponent’s past to tarnish his/her credibility. Because I believe in putting all cards on the table and because I want the community to know who I am as a person, I would like to share with you how I became the person I am today.
Like most of us, I had to go through tough times, challenges, and deal with the consequences of poor decisions I made in the past. Clarksville, TN – On October 10th, 2013 at a special session of the Clarksville City Council, Mayor Kim McMillan administered the oath of office to Michael Kip McNeill.
Mr. McNeill was selected by the City Council as the new council member from Clarksville’s Ward 1.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville City Council met in a quickie session Thursday afternoon to fill the vacant city councilman position of Ward 1. Councilman Burkhart was absent. The two citizens requesting to fill the position were Mr. John Leckrone and Mr. Michael McNeill.
Mr. McNeill received all of the votes of the council members. Congrats to Mr. McNeill and our thanks to Mr. Leckrone for his interest to serve his ward.
Clarksville, TN – With the resignation of Councilman Nick Steward, a vacancy has been created on the Clarksville City Council for a representative from Ward 1.
Anyone who seeks to be considered as a candidate for the Ward 1 vacancy should provide, in writing, a statement of interest indicating that they have been a resident of the City of Clarksville for at least one year and that they are registered to vote. «Read the rest of this article»
