City of Clarksville celebrates first-quarter Safety Record

 

Several Clarksville Departments post Injury-Free start to 2020

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – City of Clarksville employees in several departments were treated to lunch Tuesday to celebrate a significant health and safety milestone.

During the first quarter of 2020, employees in Parks & Recreation, Parks Maintenance, Streets and the City Garage all worked safely without any recordable incidents under Federal Occupational Safety & Health Administration guidelines.

City of Clarksville staff competes to be Game Changers

 

City Employees have a Field Day to aid United Way Campaign

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – City of Clarksville employees competed Thursday in the Field Day Games as part of the annual United Way “Be a Game Changer” Campaign.

Eight six-member teams from across City Government gathered at the Wilma Rudolph Events Center to battle it out in nine whacky events, including the Ping Pong Shake, Elephant March and Balloon Pop.

Lauren Winters, City United Way Campaign coordinator, Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan, and local United Way CEO Ginna Holleman, lead the Field Days Games Thursday as part of the City’s annual United Way Campaign.

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – As we all learned in elementary school, Thanksgiving is a celebration and a time for giving thanks for the blessings we have received and the obstacles we have overcome.

The first Thanksgiving feasts, we are told, were shared between the colonists and the Native Americans who had helped them survive. Indeed, those early celebrations recognized, at least in part, that without the natives, the settlers may not have survived.

Clarksville Police reports Email Threats towards City of Clarksville Employees and Clarksville Montgomery County School System

 

CMCSS On System Wide Modified Lockdown

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – This morning, September 3rd, 2013, between the hours of 5:00am and 6:00am, multiple City of Clarksville employees were sent threatening emails. The threats were towards the recipients of the emails and towards unidentified schools.

The Clarksville Police Department has notified the Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department. CMCSS is on a system wide modified lockdown. The Clarksville Police Department is following several leads and investigating this situation.

Chili Cook Off to be held by City of Clarksville Departments to Benefit United Way
