Clarksville, TN – Fresh off winning the Clarksville City Amateur last week, Brad Van Kirk made it a clean sweep of the city titles, August 3rd at Swan Lake Golf Course, by winning the Senior Clarksville City Amateur.
The win was the fourth this summer for Van Kirk, who also won the senior title at the Wendy’s Invitational this spring and the Commanding General’s senior championship in June.
“This has been just an incredible year of golf for me,” Van Kirk said. “My putting has been better than it has ever been in my entire life and like I’ve said before ‘thank you Griff Rudolph’.

Clarksville City Amateur Golf Tournament won by Brian Balthrop on final hole as he birdies to edge Graham Sleigh
Clarksville, TN – Brian Balthrop and Graham Sleigh went back-and-fourth all day Sunday, July 21st, at Swan Lake Course in the final round of the 2013 Clarksville City Amateur Tournament, but a final birdie on the final hole earned Balthrop his third career City Am title.

Clarksville City Amateur Golf Tournament heads into the final round with Brian Balthrop and Graham Sleigh sharing the lead
Clarksville, TN – Turning in the two best rounds of the day, July 20th at Cole Park Golf Course, Brian Balthrop and Graham Sleigh sit tied atop the leader-board at six-under par after the first 36 holes of play at the Clarksville City Amateur.
After shooting an even-par round of 72 on July 19th at the Clarksville County Club, Sleigh fired a bogie-free round at Cole Park – including birdies on holes three, five, seven, 12 and an eagle on 14.

Clarksville City Amateur Golf Tournament opening round sees Low Scores at a Premium
Clarksville, TN – Only six of the 59 competitors shot par or better in the opening round of the 2013 Clarksville City Amateur, July 19th at the Clarksville Country Club, as the tournament moves to Cole Park Golf Course for the second round July 20th.
There is no real surprises at who the at the top of the leaderboard after Day 1, as Tyler Guy – who teamed with Clev Guinn to win the Bud Light Two-Man Scramble back on June 22nd and 23rd – was one of three golfers to card a one-under par 71.
