Water service is disrupted on Cedarmont Drive from Trough Springs Road to Rabbit Run Trail until approximately 4:00pm while Gas and Water construction workers repair a 6-inch water main line on Trough Springs Road. Area residents may experience low water pressure during the outage. Cedarmont will be open to traffic.

Crossland Avenue will be closed to all lanes of traffic from Greenwood Avenue to Pageant Lane beginning Thursday, August 26th, at 6:00pm to approximately 6:00am on Friday morning.
Gas and Water construction workers plan to replace water valves near the intersection of Crossland and Richardson Streets. Water service will also be disrupted for this section of Crossland Avenue including Gracey Avenue, Central Avenue, Richardson Street and Talley Drive from 8:00pm to 6:00am.
Residents in the surrounding areas may experience low water pressure during the water valve replacement work. Motorists will be detoured to Greenwood Avenue and Pageant Lane.

Hornberger Lane will be closed to southbound traffic from College Street to Franklin Street on Tuesday, August 24th beginning at 7:00pm to approximately midnight.
Franklin Street will also be closed from Hornberger Lane to E. College Street while Gas and Water construction workers repair an eight-inch sewer main line near the intersection of Hornberger and Franklin.
Traffic will be detoured.
Monday, August 16th, 2010, 8:00pm.
Providence Boulevard will be closed to one lane of traffic from Oak Street to Peachers Mill Road beginning Monday, August 16th, at 7:00pm to Tuesday morning at approximately 7:00am. Gas and Water construction crews will continue water valve replacement work on the boulevard at the Oak Street intersection.
Water service will also be disrupted from 8:00pm to approximately 6:00am for Providence Boulevard from Oak Street to Peachers Mill Road including Oak Street, Plum Street, Beech Street, D Street, Chapel Street from Beech to Locust, and E Street from Providence Boulevard to Oak Street.
Thursday, August 12th, 7:00pm.
Providence Boulevard will be closed to one lane of traffic from Oak Street to Peachers Mill Road beginning Thursday, August 12th, at 7:00pm to early Friday morning at 3:00am while Gas and Water construction workers replace two water valves near the intersection of Providence Boulevard and Powers Street.
This section of Providence Boulevard will be without water service during the repair work and will include E Street from the Boulevard to Oak Street and from Oak Street to D Street during the repair work.
Saturday, July 31st
Water service will be disrupted on Haynes Street from Haynes to Mosley Drive and from Haynes to Memorial Drive on Saturday beginning at 7:00am to approximately noon. Gas and Water construction workers will perform ongoing fire hydrant replacement work at the intersection of Haynes and Memorial. The street will be open to traffic.
Water service will be disrupted on Walker Street, including A and B streets, beginning on Wednesday, July 28th, at 7:00am to approximately 12:00pm. Walker Street will also be closed to through traffic while Gas and Water construction workers remove an old eight-inch water main on Walker Street.

Sequoia Lane is closed to traffic from Trenton Road to Pea Ridge Road until approximately 1:00pm this afternoon. Gas and Water construction workers are installing a water service line on Sequoia. Traffic will be detoured to Trenton and Pea Ridge roads.
This notice deals with surface waters only. It does not in any way concern drinking water. The water plant has been unaffected by the flooding and all drinking water from the City of Clarksville is SAFE.
Due to the extreme flooding in the Cumberland River basin and localized Clarksville area flooding, all surface water (creeks, streams, puddles, and ponds) in Clarksville and the general area should be considered contaminated. The Clarksville Gas and Water Department recommends the public abstain from wading, swimming, or drinking from any surface water source. The water may be contaminated with gasoline, oil, untreated wastewater, or other hazards.

The southbound lane on Madison Street will be closed to traffic from Maplemere Drive to 12th Street for a couple of hours. Gas and Water construction workers are repairing an 8-inch water main on Madison. Motorists may use pass using the inside lane.
