Clarksville Police respond to Vehicle Accident Involving Pedestrian on Ashland City Road

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – This morning, Monday, May 30th, 2016 at 1:23am, Clarksville Police Officers responded a traffic crash involving a pedestrian on Ashland City Road near the Gatlin Street intersection.

A vehicle struck the pedestrian on the roadway. The pedestrian was transported by LifeFlight to Nashville and sustained life-threatening injuries from the crash.

Clarksville Police report Traffic Crash on Circle Drive

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, May 25th, 2015 at 6:52pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a single vehicle traffic crash that occurred on the 400 block of Circle Drive.

The vehicle veered off the road and struck a fence. There were five occupants in the vehicle. Only one of the five occupants was injured. The injured person was a juvenile who was first transported by EMS to Gateway Medical Center and then transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Clarksville’s Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitive Captured

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, along with the U.S. Marshals and Clarksville Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit, captured one of the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted fugitives after negotiating his surrender from a Clarksville residence around noon yesterday.

He was the third and final suspect still at large for a 2010 Clarksville murder.

Man Charged in Shooting

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On January 25th, 2010, around 11:24am, officers responded to a shots fired call in  Lincoln Homes At 11:28am, a second call was received that advised that a subject had been shot at 18 C Lincoln Drive in Lincoln Homes.

Officers found Vincent Ventron Perry, 25, of Clarksville, deceased inside the apartment, with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

Two Men in Custody and Charged with Homicide

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On January 15th, 2010, around 3:30am, officers were called to the 118 West Washington Street when a vehicle crashed into a house. The caller also said that there were men fighting outside in front of the residence. 

When officers arrived they found 25 year old, Montavious Dashawn Talley on the ground with a stab wound to the chest area and that he had crashed  a 2000 Ford SUV into the house. The men involved in the fight had already fled from the scene. At that point, the suspects, the reason for the fight and the crash were unknown.

Arrests made after Marijuana Seizure

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On January 14th, 2011, after receiving an anonymous tip, Clarksville Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit made one of the largest drug seizures that anyone can recall. 250 pounds of marijuana, 5 pounds of hashish, guns, and drug paraphernalia which were seized and turned into evidence.

Soon after, Michael West, age 28 was arrested along with and Larissa West age 26.

Clarksville Police Department Seizes Over 200lbs of Marijuana

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On January 14th, 2011, around 4:30pm, an anonymous tip lead Agents from Clarksville Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit to the 600 Block of Fairfield Drive.  

When Agents approached the door, they could smell the distinct odor of marijuana coming from the residence. They contacted  the residents inside and shortly thereafter obtained a search warrant.
