Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) head men’s basketball coach Matt Figger is pleased to announce Rod Clark as the program’s new assistant coach.
Clark joins the Governors after a year at Illinois-Chicago, where he was part of a staff that led the Flames to an 18-17 mark overall and an appearance in the Horizon League Championship game.

Columbia, KY – Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team continued its recent 4-3 trend, Wednesday, knocking off No. 7 ranked NAIA power Lindsey Wilson at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
The Governors (3-7) extended their winning streak to three on the season, with all three matches decided by one point.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s tennis match against Lindsey Wilson originally scheduled for Friday has been postponed to March 30th.
Due to projected low temperatures, the ITA weather rule will force the Govs to miss the outdoor match in Columbia, Kentucky.
 Austin Peay Men’s Tennis match scheduled for Friday, March 4th has been postponed due to cold weather. The match is now set for March 30th. (APSU Sports Information)

Fort Campbell Lifeliners demonstrate readiness to deploy

 Fort Campbell, KY – Soldiers from the 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), carried out a readiness validation exercise February 26th at Fort Campbell, KY. The exercise validated the unit’s ability to rapidly deploy anywhere in the world.
The exercise involved approximately half of the companies of the 129th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion and one company from the 101st Special Troops Battalion.

Clarksville, TN – After bouncing back from its season’s first loss with a win last Saturday, Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team looks to embark on another winning streak when the Govs host Western Kentucky (4:30pm, Friday) and travel to Southern Indiana (6:00pm, Saturday) for a pair of matches.
