Nashville Zoo to hold Harvest Days September 27th and 28th

 

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Come welcome the arrival of fall at Nashville Zoo’s Harvest Days set for September 27th and 28th. The annual festival celebrating the tradition of harvest season features live music, activities, special animal presentations and more.

Harvest Days take place around the Zoo’s Croft Home. Blacksmiths, weavers, woodcarvers and other artisans will be demonstrating 19th century trades, while guests try their hand at old-time activities, such as cider making and butter churning.

Nashville Lawn and Garden ShowNashville, TN – The 23rd Annual Nashville Lawn & Garden Show will return to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds  on Thursday, March 1st, through Sunday, March 4th, ready to welcome thousands of people to Tennessee’s largest annual gardening event.

Gardens Past, Present & Future is the theme for the 4-day show that is a “must-go” event for anyone who loves spring flowers and plants, can’t wait to plant a vegetable garden, wants some gardening tips and landscaping ideas, or enjoys shopping for outdoor décor and garden gadgets.

Nashville Lawn & Garden Show: Here We Grow Again!

 

On March 3rd – 6th at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds

Nashville Lawn and Garden ShowNashville, TN – The Nashville Lawn & Garden Show returns to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds  on Thursday, March 3rd, through Sunday, March 6th, ready to welcome thousands of people to Tennessee’s largest annual gardening event.  Here We Grow Again! is the theme for the 2011 celebration of all things “green and growing” that will mark the show’s 22nd anniversary at the Fairgrounds.

The 4-day event will feature an acre of live gardens, thousands of blooming flowers and plants, a floral design gallery, and 250 exhibit booths filled with horticultural products and services, gardening and lawn equipment, outdoor living decor, and a variety of plants, seeds and bulbs. Rosalind Creasy, nationally acclaimed edible landscape expert, James Robyn, designer and builder of European-influenced natural swimming pools, and Anthony Archer-Wills, creator of water gardens throughout the world, are among the more than 20 speakers who will present free lectures.
