Tennessee Bureau of Investigation charges Former Dickson County Clerk Jamie Wall with Theft

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has led to the indictment of a White Bluff woman on a theft charge.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, on March 19th, TBI Special Agents began investigating a report of theft from the Dickson County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office.

During the course of the investigation, Agents learned that from 2009 through 2015, Jamie Wall, who was the bookkeeper at the time, would take payments from citizens who owed money to the county through fines or court costs.

TBI charges Tasha Corlew of Dickson with Tampering with Evidence, Bringing Contraband into Jail

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Special Agents have obtained an indictment for a Dickson County woman charged with bringing contraband into a jail, and tampering with evidence.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, on April 3rd, Special Agents began investigating the disappearance of money and drugs from a patrol car.

On April 1st, Tasha Corlew was involved in a traffic accident in Dickson, and was ultimately charged with DUI. A Dickson police officer at the scene collected items that Corlew had in her possession, which the investigation revealed included cash and drugs, and placed them in the front of his vehicle.

TBI indicts, charges 2nd Man in Cold Case Murder Investigation

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained indictments and arrested a Dickson County man, the second to be implicated in connection to a 17-year-old homicide case.

At the request of former 23rd District Attorney General Dan Alsobrooks, TBI Agents began investigating the death of Eric Baxter on August 20th, 1998, the same day authorities discovered the body of the 32-year-old Dickson man shot multiple times in his Jones Creek Road home.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation indicts Dickson Man for Double Homicide

 

Two Other Men Face Charges Related to that Homicide Investigation

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – A joint investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and investigators with the Dickson Police Department has resulted in the indictment of a Dickson man who is charged in a double homicide. Additionally, two other Dickson men have been indicted on charges of fabricating evidence related to that crime.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Special Agents, working with officers with the Dickson Police Department, began investigating the death of two individuals whose bodies were found in a duplex fire on April 14th on McFarland Lane in Dickson.

Zachery Huff of Dickson County Indicted in TBI Case, Accused of Filing False Report

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has obtained an indictment for a Dickson County man accused of filing a false report.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Dan Alsobrooks, TBI Special Agents began investigating Zachery Craig Huff on September 4th, 2013.

During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that Huff told authorities about a traffic stop and search, allegedly conducted by a Drug Task Force Agent in late January or early February of 2013.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation indicts Hickman County Man for Food Stamp Fraud

 

Subject arrested in Ohio

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation indicted a Hickman County man for food stamp fraud last month which resulted in his arrest last night in Ohio.

James Cooper, 36, of Bon Aqua, Tennessee was indicted by the Dickson County grand jury on April 24th, 2013 on five counts of food stamp fraud. Cooper was located last night in Brunswick, Ohio and arrested for a 2004 probation violation out of Cuyahoga County. «Read the rest of this article»
