#21 Tennessee Vols beat Nebraska Cornhuskers 38-24 in the Music City Bowl

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsNashville, TN Joshua Dobbs racked up 409 yards of total offense and four touchdowns, Derek Barnett set a new Tennessee sack record and the No. 21 Tennessee Volunteers took a 38-24 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the 2016 Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl on Friday at Nissan Stadium.

Tennessee (9-4) led from start to finish and posted 521 yards of offense thanks to Dobbs’ outstanding career finale. Dobbs, who was named MVP of the game, ran for 118 yards and three scores on 11 carries and finished 23-of-38, throwing for 291 yards and one touchdown.

Tennessee Volunteers face Nebraska Cornhuskers in 19th annual Music City Bowl, December 30th

 

Music City BowlNashville, TN – Representatives from the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl have announced that the University of Tennessee Volunteers will represent the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in the 19th annual Bowl as they take on the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers of the Big Ten Conference.

Kickoff will be Friday, December 30th at 2:30pm CST at Nissan Stadium in Nashville Tennessee. The game will be televised live on ESPN.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Nebraska and Tennessee to Nashville for the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl,” said Dan Crockett, President/CEO of Franklin American Mortgage Company.

Wounded Warriors recognized during Music City Bowl

 

Tennessee National GuardNashville, TN – Eight wounded warriors, their families, and two Gold Star families were invited as special guests through Humana’s Wounded Warriors Program to the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl in Nashville. The group arrived at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Nashville on Sunday, December 28th and attended bowl game festivities the next two days.

Franklin American Mortgage provided several tables for the group at the Franklin American Mortgage Coaches Luncheon, held at the Wildhorse Saloon on Monday, December 29th.

Eight wounded warriors, their families, and two Gold Star families were invited to the Franklin American Mortgage Music City bowl to be honored during each event leading up to the game on Dec. 30, 2014. Before the game, the group stood on the field during the singing of the national anthem.

17th Annual Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl to feature Notre Dame vs. LSU December 30th

 

Game will represent both teams’ first trip to the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl and first on field meeting since 2007 Sugar Bowl

Music City BowlNashville, TN – Representatives from the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl announced today the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will represent the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in the 17th annual Bowl as they take on the LSU Tigers of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

Kickoff will be Tuesday, December 30th at 2:00pm CST at LP Field in Nashville. The game will be televised live on ESPN.

F&M Mortgage Receives Statewide Recognition from THDA and USDA Rural Development

 

Clarksville, TN – The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) has recognized F&M Mortgage as one of its top five lenders statewide for the second year in a row. In addition, the USDA Rural Development has recognized the organization with its Premier Lender Award for outstanding loan production in rural Tennessee communities.

Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Home, Lawn, And Farm Show showcased area businesses

 

The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce held their first annual  Home, Lawn, and Farm Show  this weekend and over 50 local businesses participated. The businesses ranged from Wofford’s Nursery to area banks. Hutson Inc was the Marquee sponsor, they  manufacture and market many of the products that you use to keep your home, lawn, and farm in tip top shape. Several thousand Clarksvillians attended the two day show which was held at the Austin Peay State University’s Red Barn.

The floor was well laid out and intermixed large well-known businesses with smaller ones. Prizes were given out to attendees ranging from a Mature Tree Planting by Wofford’s Nursery valued at $4,000, to two 42 inch LCD HD TVs by Anchor Mortgage.
