Nashville, TN – This week the Tennessee Titans (8-5) play their second consecutive road game against an NFC West opponent, traveling to meet the San Francisco 49ers (3-10). It marks the franchise’s first appearance at Levi’s Stadium (capacity 68,500), which opened in 2014. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:25pm PST/3:25pm CST on Sunday, December 17th, 2017.
The Titans have not visited the 49ers since November 8th, 2009. The Titans won that game, which was at Candlestick Park, but the 49ers took the most recent meeting 31-17 on October 20th, 2013 in Tennessee. The 49ers lead the all-time series 8-5.

Clarksville, TN – At long last, Austin Peay State University football team returns home to the friendly confines of Governors Stadium for a 4:00pm, Saturday, contest against Eastern Illinois.
After a three-game road swing—where Austin Peay has not won since 2010—the Govs are back in front of the home fans against a winless Eastern Illinois squad facing its first 2015 Ohio Valley Conference opponent.
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University, playing in its first home game of the 2013 season October 10th at Governors Stadium, saw Ohio Valley Conference opponent Eastern Illinois University score touchdowns on each of its first four drives to help propel the Panthers to a 63-7 victory.
Eastern Illinois (5-1, 2-0 OVC) struck quickly to start the night’s scoring, needing only 80 seconds and five plays to go the 70 yards –with Taylor Duncan taking it the in from 27 yards out for the touchdown and the 7-0 lead.

Clarksville, TN – After five straight games on the road—plus a bye week, Austin Peay State University Football finally plays a home game in Week 6 of the 2013 season.
The Govs are the last FCS or FBS to play a home game this season.
Nashville, TN – For the first time since the 2007 season Eastern Illinois has been picked the favorite in the Ohio Valley Conference football race.
The defending champion Panthers picked up 12 of the 18 first-place votes in the 2013 poll which is a vote of league head coaches and sports information directors.

Charleston, IL – Jimmy Garoppolo threw five touchdown passes, all longer than 50 yards, to lead Eastern Illinois to a 65-15 victory against Austin Peay State University, Saturday afternoon, in Ohio Valley Conference action at O’Brien Field.
The loss left the Govs 0-5 on the season, 0-3 in OVC play.

Clarksville, TN – For a second straight game, Austin Peay State University’s football team got off to a good start. For the second straight contest, the Governors could not finish what it started.
Austin Peay dominated the first quarter, getting off to a 10-0 lead, but it was Eastern Illinois who dominated the game’s remainder as the Governors fell to the Panthers, 19-10, Saturday afternoon in Ohio Valley Conference action.

Clarksville, TN – It’s homecoming for Austin Peay-with the theme of Jurassic Peay-as the Govs are set to host Eastern Illinois in 4:00pm, Saturday, Ohio Valley Conference contest at Governors Stadium.
More importantly, the Governors are seeking a much-needed win after dropping their third straight contest, 17-13, at Southeast Missouri last week. It was a game that saw the Governors impressively drive 95 yards on the game’s first possession to jump out to a 7-0 lead.

Clarksville, TN – This will be Austin Peay’s 67th homecoming–”Jurassic Peay” the theme–with the Govs owning a 28-37-1 record in those events. After winning homecoming games in both 2007 and 2008, the Govs have lost the last two homecomings, including a 34-21 defeat to Tennessee Tech a year ago. APSU has won just seven homecoming games in the past 24 years.
This is Austin Peay’s third of three homecomings in October. On October 8th, the Govs lost at UT Martin, 61-23. Last week the Govs lost 17-13 at Southeast Missouri. The 17-13 loss to Southeast Missouri was APSU’s third straight loss, making it four

Charleston, IL – Running backs Terrence Holt and Ryan White each had more than 100-yards rushing, but four turnovers proved costly as Austin Peay State University’s football team lost 28-10 at Eastern Illinois, Saturday, in Ohio Valley Conference play.
The Panthers scored three of their four touchdowns on drives following Austin Peay turnovers to record their season’s first win–the fourth TD came after a short punt into the a strong wind.
The loss was the Govs fifth straight, dropping them to 2-6 overall. The loss also means the Governors will endure their third straight losing season.
