Montgomery County Commission to fill District 6 vacant seat on June 14th

Montgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Board of Commissioners will act to fill the vacant seat of the county commissioner in District 6 at the formal commission meeting on Monday, June 14th, at 6:00pm.

The seat is vacant due to the passing of Commissioner Arnold Hodges on April 18th, 2021. The meeting will be held in the commission chambers on the third floor of the County Historic Courthouse, 1 Millennium Plaza, Clarksville, Tennessee.

Montgomery County holds swearing in Ceremony

Montgomery County, TN – On Wednesday evening at the Clarksville-Montgomery County courthouse citizens and recently elected officials gathered to attend a reception and swearing in ceremony.

Dalton Harrison talked to the crowd at the 106th Annual Lone Oak Picnic

Cunningham, TN – Montgomery County Commissioner for District 6 Dalton Harrison spoke  at the 106th Annual Lone Oak Picnic held by the Central Civitan Club.

“I’m going to do something  a little different. This afternoon you’ve heard people tell you want you want to hear to get elected. I’m not going to do that,” stated Harrison. “I’m going to tell you the truth and let you make up your own mind.”

Arnold Hodges addressed those in attendance at the 106th Annual Lone Oak Picnic

Cunningham, TN – On Saturday, July 27th, 2014, Arnold Hodges, candidate for Montgomery County Commission District 6, gave a speech at the 106th Annual Lone Oak Picnic held by the Central Civitan Club.

“I have probably attended this picnic for 60 years. It’s really an inspiration for this community,” said Hodges. “A lot of you know me. I am a sixth generation of this community. I am running in this race trying to get in to help people out.”

Montgomery County Breaks Ground on Richellen Park

Montgomery County, TN – Yesterday, on July 30th 2013 Montgomery County held a groundbreaking and Richellen Park a 52 acre facility that will be built off of Highway 149 in southern Montgomery County to service the Cumberland Heights and Palmyra communities.

The 52 acre park will feature a large pavilion which will have enough space to accommodate larger events such as craft-fairs, trade shows, fundraisers for the community, public gatherings, and you will be able to rent the facility for private events.
