Clarksville Police report person found dead at 102 Church Court

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday, May 27th, 2019, Clarksville Police along with Montgomery County Emergency Medical Service (EMS) were sent to 102 Church Court at 3:27pm to conduct a welfare check on the resident. Upon entry the resident was found deceased.

At this time the Clarksville Police Department is handling the investigation as a homicide, and has leads that are actively being followed.

The Clarksville-Montgomery County local Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will be held Friday, May 17th, 2019, 10:30am at Clarksville Police Headquarters, 135 Commerce Street. The public is invited to attend.

U.S. President John F. Kennedy signed Public Law 87-726 designating May 15th as Peace Officers’ Memorial Day back in 1962, and the week in which May 15th falls as National Police Week.

Clarksville Police release information on search for missing 13 Year Old Autistic Child

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report the massive search for missing 13 Year Old Autistic Child Reese came to a conclusion with a positive outcome.

After four hours of intense search operations by multiple agencies utilizing drones, helicopter, K-9, 4-wheelers, and searchers on foot, the 13 year old was located, safe and unharmed around 2:21pm, Thursday, February 15th, 2019.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County law enforcement memorial ceremony was held today at the Clarksville Police Department as part of National Police Week which pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers, locally and across the nation, who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

It also serves as time to remember all the other officers who passed away over the years who dedicated their lives to serving our community.

Montgomery County Emergency Medical Service workers head to Florida

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Two Montgomery County Emergency Medical Service (EMS) team members; Critical Care Paramedic Jeremy Clark and Paramedic Rita Cain headed to Tallahassee, FL this morning to provide medical support in the expected aftermath of Hurricane Irma.

The Montgomery County Team mobilized with other assets from the region. Each team member who is a part of this effort has received special strike team training and education to be qualified for membership.

Clarksville Police reports Man Jumps into Red River after Bar Fight

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On September 1st, 2017 at 10:24pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a possible fight in progress at 690 North Riverside Drive and one of the men involved had possibly jumped into the river.

Based on information provided by witnesses, security had attempted to break up a fight between two men in the parking lot of the business. One of the men, 24 years old, became belligerent toward security guards proceeded toward the water and fell into a large puddle as he was challenging the bar staff to fight.

Clarksville Police are searching for a man that jumped into the fast moving current of the Red River after a fight at a bar on Riverside Drive.
