Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officer Natalie Hall was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in a Friday morning ceremony at the police headquarters building. Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan congratulated Hall before CPD Chief Al Ansley presented the officer with a promotion certificate and a gold badge.
Hall’s parents, Jack and Millie Hall, drove from Shawneetown, Illinois to attend the ceremony. Millie Hall pinned the new Sergeant badge on her daughter.

Clarksville, TN – Sergeant Ferguson has worked with the Clarksville Police Department for 19 years.
He is currently the District 2B Day Shift Sergeant. His home precinct is CPD Headquarters, and his area of responsibility is downtown Clarksville (Riverside Drive, Madison Street, the area surrounding APSU, Providence Boulevard, Lincoln Homes, Summit Heights, etc).
The Clarksville Police Department showed an immediate interest in Sgt Ferguson after he graduated from Austin Peay State University with a degree in Police Science and Administration. He went through their testing process in January of 1997 and was hired in February of 1997.

Tragic Loss for the Clarksville Police Department and the Clarksville Community
Clarksville, TN – Detective Tyler Barrett, a 21-year veteran of the Clarksville Police Department, passed away last night November 3rd, 2015, due to a medical issue.
Tyler was hired with the CPD on September 12th, 1994. He was promoted to Detective on August 22nd, 2005, and has been a Detective for the remainder of his time at the CPD.

Clarksville Police Department hosted an Improvised Alcohol Awareness Class for Clarksville Academy Upperclassmen

Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday April 29th, 2015 at 1:00pm, the Clarksville Police Department hosted an Improvised Alcohol Awareness Class for the Junior and Senior classes from Clarksville Academy at their outdoor Sports Complex off of Hwy 48-13.
The purposes of the class was to educate teens on the dangers of impaired driving, educate on DUI laws, and to influence a reduction in the underage consumption of alcohol.
 Over 60 Clarksville Academy Students attended the CPD’s Improvised Alcohol Awareness Class.
