Rossview Hawks Football’s Jim Irwin, Tristan Luke, Charles Talleyrand Commit On National Signing Day

 

Rossview High School HawksClarksville, TN – Like thousands of high school athletes across the country, three Rossview Hawks’ football players, Jim Irwin, Tristan Luke and Charles Talleyrand, signed their letter of intent in a ceremony at Rossview High School Wednesday morning as part of National Signing Day.

“The three guys that signed today, Charles Talleyrand, Tristan Luke and Jim Irwin, all quality kids. Great opportunities for them. Certainly proud of them,” Rossview Hawks football head coach Ron Lambert said. “This is just a reward for those guys and their teammates, really the whole school.”

Rossview High School’s Hanley Long signs with Middle Tennessee

 

Rossview High School HawksClarksville, TN – On November 13th, 2014, Rossview High School’s Hanley Long signed her commitment letter to play golf for Middle Tennessee State University. Hanley was a medalist at Districts, a medalist at regions and helped win the Team State Championship for Rossview.

Hanley was runner up at the TGA Girl’s Junior Amateur Championship, won the Craig Rudolph Memorial, made the Tennessee Junior Cup team.

The Govs began filling those spots by signing left-handed pitcher Austin Higginbotham, of Gainesville, Georgia, on the opening day of the fall signing period, Wednesday.

Austin Peay State University’s Kirby Cannon announces first football recruiting class

 

Austin Peay State University Governors Sports - APSUClarksville, TN – Head coach Kirby Cannon is hopeful his first Austin Peay State University recruiting class will be remembered as the one that helped turnaround the Governors football fortunes.

As of Wednesday, the Governors will enter the 2014 season with 29 new faces on an ever-changing roster. That class could expand in coming days.

Clarksville High Wildcat Football Players Bruno Reagan and Eyan Pope Sign Commitments on National Signing Day

 

Clarksville High School WildcatsClarksville, TN – On National Signing day senior football players Eyan Pope and Bruno Reagan signed their commitments to play at the collegiate level in front of friends and family at Clarksville High School.

“It has been a blast just seeing them come in to workouts everyday, wanting to get better, wanting to get stronger,“ former Clarksville High football head coach Ken Busbee said. “Hopefully this rubs off on some of the others. It has just been a blast watching them come in and compete everyday.”

Northeast High School Senior Pitcher Ben Wilford Signs with Gulf Coast Commodores

 

Northeast High School EaglesClarksville, TN – On the eve of National Signing Day, Northeast Eagle senior pitcher Ben Wilford signed his intent to join the Gulf Coast State College Commodores baseball team in a room filled with coaches, family and various supporters at Northeast High School.

Wilford was surrounded by his parents and coaches when he signed his name, and donned the blue Gulf Coast Commodore’s cap.
